Zestmail ("we," "our," or "us") is a Chrome browser extension that helps users manage their Gmail more efficiently. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information.

Zestmail accesses the following data to provide its core functionality:

• Gmail Data: We access your Gmail messages, labels, and contacts solely to provide email management features within the extension. This data is processed locally in your browser and on our secure servers.
• Account Information: Your Google account email address is used for authentication and to associate your subscription plan.
• Usage Data: We collect anonymous usage metrics (e.g., feature usage counts) to improve the product. No email content is included in usage data.

• To provide and improve Zestmail's email management features
• To authenticate your identity and manage your subscription
• To send transactional emails (e.g., subscription confirmations)
• To monitor and improve performance and reliability

3. Data Storage and Security

Your email data is processed in real-time and is not permanently stored on our servers. We use industry-standard encryption (TLS/SSL) for all data transmission. Authentication tokens are stored securely using Cloudflare Workers KV with encryption at rest.

4. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Google APIs: To access Gmail data with your explicit authorization
• Cloudflare: For secure server infrastructure
• Lemon Squeezy: For subscription billing and payment processing

We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third parties for marketing purposes.

5. Google API Services User Data Policy

Zestmail's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. Specifically:

• We only request access to data that is necessary for Zestmail's functionality
• We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes
• We do not allow humans to read your data unless with your affirmative consent, for security purposes, or to comply with applicable law
• We do not transfer data to third parties except as necessary to provide the service

6. Data Retention

We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. Email data is processed in real-time and not stored permanently. If you uninstall Zestmail or revoke access, all associated data is deleted within 30 days.

7. Your Rights

You have the right to:

• Revoke Zestmail's access to your Google account at any time via Google Account Permissions
• Request deletion of your account data by contacting us
• Export your data upon request

8. Children's Privacy

Zestmail is not intended for use by children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify users of significant changes through the extension or via email.
